The Dental Services Section of the Craven County Health Department benefits the community with a strong partnership between local and state dental  professionals.

Smile Mobile

The primary focus of the Smile Mobile is to treat children and pregnant women in Craven and Pamlico counties.

The Smile Mobile sees children ages 1-20 who have Medicaid, NC Health Choice and self pay. Services are also provided to pregnant women who are patients of Craven and Pamlico County Health Departments.

The Smile Mobile is a mobile dental unit that travels to many different schools within Craven and Pamlico counties. Please call to find out our location and to schedule an appointment.

In order for your child to be seen, all paperwork must be filled out and turned in by the due date listed. If you have any other children outside of school that need a dentist, we also have appointment times available during and after school hours.
