The School Resource Officers Bureau provides security and protection for the students and staff of Craven County Schools, preserves peace and order, enforces Board of Education, School, and State Laws and policies, prevents and detects crime, provides services for students and staff, and maintains reports and records.
SROs are assigned to schools across the County, including Craven Community College and charter schools. The bureau also implements the D.A.R.E. program.
