Super Sweeper Award

Craven County Clean Sweep Program recognizes its first two recipients of the Super Sweeper Award for 2025.

The Craven County Clean Sweep Committee presented two very deserving individuals, Pat Sager and Billy Wilkes, with the 2025 Super Sweeper Award at the Craven County Board of Commissioners’ meeting held on Monday, April 7th. This award recognizes individuals or organizations that go above and beyond to help keep Craven County litter free. This description fits these two perfectly! For years, both individuals have been strong advocates for a litter free environment, volunteering much of their time talking to others about the issues and picking up litter themselves. They have both been great examples to everyone around them. We appreciate their time, their efforts and their passion for helping to keep Craven County clean and beautiful!

The Super Sweeper award was established to recognize individuals or groups that go above and beyond in helping keep Craven County clean and free of litter. The Clean Sweep Committee would like to make this an annual award event in which the recipients are recognized at the first Craven County Board of Commissioners meeting each year in March.
