Why is safe disposal important?

The latest statistics show that the number of unintentional poisoning deaths in North Carolina increased more than 550 percent, from 279 deaths in 1999 to 1,822 deaths in 2016.

Craven County residents are encouraged to protect their families and the community by safely disposing of unused or expired medications at one of the medication drop box locations.
