Refuse and Recycling - Curbside Collection

• Curbside collection haulers observe the following holidays:

  Thanksgiving	Fourth Thursday in November
  Christmas	December 25
  New Year's Day	January 1

• Generally, the hauler will not run on the holiday, and for the rest of the week the schedule will be one day behind. For example, Monday's collection will be serviced on Tuesday, Tuesday's collection will be serviced on Wednesday, etc.
• All other holidays are not observed, and the regular collection schedule will be followed.
• Items should be placed for collection before 7 AM on the day of collection.
• Curbside collection haulers will service refuse and/or recycling containers between the hours of  7 AM and 7 PM on the designated day of collection. Please allow sufficient time for the hauler to service your material, especially during inclement weather such as rain, snow, sleet, and extreme heat.

Convenience Sites

• Convenience sites follow Craven County Government's holiday schedule if that holiday falls on a regular operating day.
• Convenience site operating hours are:

  Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday	7 AM - 6:30 PM
  Sunday	1 PM - 6:30 PM

• Citizens should be unloaded and off the property by 6:20 PM to allow the securing of the site before closing.
