Chadwick Howard is a North Carolina native and graduate of the University of Illinois and Western Illinois University. Chadwick taught for eleven years at Tucker Creek Middle School where he coached golf, wrestling and track & field. Chad now serves at Newport Middle School as the Curriculum Specialist and Instructional Technology Facilitator.

As a student at the University of Illinois Chad received his Master's degree in Education with an emphasis in history. With a passion for technology and teaching, he enjoys working with teachers and helping whenever needed. As a student Chad served as Student Body President, Student Senator, Student member to the Board of Trustees and guest reporter for the student newspaper. He enjoys working with students to be sure that they are serious and prepared for their futures.

Commissioner Howard was elected November 2022 and serves on the following Boards:
