Pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. § 158-7.1, Craven County (hereinafter “County”) intends to award

an economic development grant in the amount of $25,000 to Schlaadt Plastics Limited for the planned

expansion of its manufacturing facility. The County believes the proposed conveyance will stimulate

and stabilize the local economy, result in the creation of a substantial number of new permanent jobs

in the County, and result in increased tax revenues to the County. The Craven County Board of

Commissioners will hold a public hearing on this matter at 7:00 p.m. (or as soon thereafter as the

matter can be reached) on Tuesday, September 7th, 2021 in the Commissioners’ Room in the Craven

County Administration Building, and all interested persons are invited to attend and present their

views.
