NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

TO ALLOW THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES BEFORE NOON ON SUNDAYS AT LICENSED PREMISES

Notice is hereby given that the Craven County Board of Commissioners will conduct a public hearing on Monday, June 4, 2018, at 7:00 p.m., in the Commissioner’s Meeting
Room, Craven County Administration Building, 406 Craven Street, New Bern, NC to receive public comment on earlier hours for the sale of alcoholic beverages on Sundays, pursuant to the authority contained in G.S. Sec. 153A-145.7.  Following the public hearing, the Board of Commissioners will consider the adoption of an ordinance to allow the sale of alcoholic beverages before noon on Sundays at licensed premises.  All interested citizens are encouraged to attend.
