Strengthening Family Relationships
The Nurturing Parenting Program is family-centered to build and increase nurturing parenting skills. The program features activities to foster positive parenting skills and self-nurturing, home practice exercises, family nurturing time, and activities to promote positive brain development in children birth to 18 years.
Each session is led by a trained parent educator who provides tools that parents can adapt to their own family’s needs. Groups include: Infants, Toddlers and Preschoolers (for ages 0-5), School-Age (for ages 6-12), and Adolescents (for ages 13-18). Both parents and children attend the sessions together but participate in separate groups.
