There are circumstances in some assessments where children must be placed outside their home due to safety not being able to be ensured in their home. If a child cannot remain safely in a home, living arrangements will be discussed with the parent to see if a relative or someone known to the parent or parents can safely care for the child or children. If this is not possible, the child or children may need to be placed in our Foster Care program.
Families will be given written notification as it relates to the outcome of their assessment.
