Mission Statement

It is the mission of Craven County Facilities Maintenance to maintain and improve the quality of Craven County Government facilities and grounds through responsive, effective, and efficient delivery of services.

Department Overview and Core Values

The Facilities Maintenance Department provides services to Craven County Government, ranging from janitorial service to capital project planning and management. This department has 18 positions, manages numerous contractual employees and contractors, and manages approximately 45 buildings, facilities, and associated grounds. The Facilities Maintenance Department also assists County departments with various required services. The work of this department directly impacts and enhances each County department and/or facility. This department strives to make Craven County facilities sustainable, efficient, comfortable, safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing.
