The tax rate for fiscal year 2017 to 2018 is $0.5394 per $100 valuation. Property taxes in North Carolina are due September 1 of each year. They are payable at par through January 5th of the following year.
On January 6th, 2% interest is added to the current year outstanding balance. Interest continues to accrue on the unpaid balance at the rate of 3/4 of one percent per month for each subsequent month until it is paid.
Job postings remain on the site until the closing date which is at least five business days from the date of issue for in-house postings and at least seven days for all postings open to the public.
