Craven County Trash, Recycling, and Hurricane Dorian Debris Information

Trash and recycling curbside collection services disrupted Thursday, September 5 and Friday, September 6, 2019 due to Hurricane Dorian will not be made up and those services will resume on residents’ regular weekly collection day starting Monday, September 9, 2019.

Craven County will not be conducting curbside pickup of hurricane debris due to the limited amount of debris generated by Hurricane Dorian.  Debris can be taken to Craven County’s seven convenience sites.  Normal hours of operation for the convenience sites are Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The seven Craven County Solid Waste Convenience sites are located at:

3555 NC Highway 101, Havelock, North Carolina.

605 NC Highway 55 East New Bern, North Carolina.

205 Belltown Road, Dover, North Carolina.

7775 Highway 70 East, Havelock, North Carolina.

4001 Old Cherry Point Road, New Bern, North Carolina.

135 Sanders Lane, New Bern, North Carolina.

232 Bailey Lane Vanceboro, North Carolina.
