Craven County Extends Countywide Curfew

Craven County has extended the countywide curfew for residents, visitors and businesses in unincorporated areas of Craven County from 8:00 a.m. on Friday, September 14, 2018 through 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 14, 2018.  A countywide mandatory evacuation remains in place.


At this time Craven County officials are encouraging all Craven County residents to shelter in place due to Hurricane Florence and its impact of extreme high winds, extreme storm surge, extreme rainfall and flooding.  Residents are asked to heed all warnings given by officials as this is a very serious and severe situation with extreme life threatening impacts. Swift water rescue teams are in place and are diligently responding to requests for assistance.
