About the Program

The Craven County Register of Deeds is proud to partner with area businesses to honor the service and sacrifice of the approximately 20,000 Veterans in our county by providing exclusive discounts and incentives. Read the press release here.

Sample ID Card
The Register of Deeds office will provide Veterans with a special photo ID card that can be used at participating businesses in Craven County. The program is free of charge to Veterans and our business partners.

To receive an ID card, a Veteran will need to visit the Register of Deeds office between 8:30AM and 4:30PM and bring the following:

  1. A photo ID (valid state-issued driver's license or identification card, military ID card, etc.), and
  2. Veteran's original DD-214, unless already on record at the Craven County Register of Deeds Office. If you do not have the original, contact Craven County Veterans Services for assistance. 

Participating Businesses

The Register of Deeds encourages all Craven County businesses to participate. To become a participating business, please complete the participation form. Discounts may be a percentage of the sale or a specific dollar amount, and exclusions may be applied, or an incentive (gift, gift card, etc.) may be offered. A window decal will be provided for each business to display to show Veterans and customers that the business is a participant in the program.
