Scott C. Dacey

Commissioner Dacey was elected to serve on the Craven County Board of Commissioners in 2010, and was re-elected to a second term in 2014. Over the past 25 years he has been engaged in providing government relations services to a host of corporations, not for profit institutions, and governments. He is also a co-owner of a real estate development company based in New Bern.

As a member of the County Board, Commissioner Dacey serves on the Eastern Carolina Council of Governments, The New Bern Craven County Library Board, and the Allies for Cherry Point's Tomorrow (ACT). He also serves on the Coastal Carolina Airport Authority.

Commissioner Dacey received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee in 1986. He and his wife Jennifer have two children and reside in Trent Woods.
