Classes/Programs

The Karate class meets every Tuesday night in the Gym at H.J. MacDonald Middle School. Class will resume January 6, 2009. Ages 3-7 meet at 7:00 pm-7:30pm and ages 8-adult meet from 7:30 pm-9:00 pm. Special Olympics Craven County is sponsoring a number of sports this winter and spring. The sports offered for athletes 8 and older are bowling, basketball, aquatics, track and field and bocce. A number of local competitions are being held in basketball skills and track and field. volunteers are needed to assist with competitions and we are currently looking for coaches. Sports/Leagues

The Vanceboro Youth Basketball League is for boys and girls ages 6-12. You can register now through November 21st. Registration is $25 per player and $20 for each additional family member. Every player will receive a t-shirt and trophy. Games are played every Saturday starting January 10th through February at Vanceboro Farm Life Elementary School. See Registration Form.
