EVENT: Hurricane Irene Recovery
Time: September 7, 2011 2:30 PM

Beginning September 7, 2011 at 8 a.m. FEMA and Craven County have opened a Disaster Recovery Center at 710 DeGraffenreid Avenue in New Bern (formerly Eckerd's/Rite Aid) for those residents who suffered losses during hurricane Irene. FEMA, SBA, mitigation and local disaster relief organizations are staffing the Center from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. seven days a week until further notice. If persons need assistance applying for Federal Aid they are encouraged to visit with the appropriate Federal and local representatives for help.
