The Nutrition Program offers services to Craven County residents of all ages and income levels.

Services include:

WIC - The program is designed for pregnant, postpartum, and nursing mothers, infants and children under five years of age. This special Supplemental Food Program for Women, Infants and Children provides supplemental foods, breast-feeding supplies and professional nutritional counseling.  To be eligible you must meet income requirements and be seen by a nutritionist.

Individual Nutrition Counseling - Offered to children of all ages by appointment.  Other nutrition information is provided at health fairs and at community events.

Group Classes - Various classes such as 'Kids in Motion' and 'Heart Healthy' classes are offered throughout the years.  Monthly classes include weight control and breastfeeding.
