Description of Adult Care Home Advisory Committee

The Adult Care Home Advisory Committee serves as the nucleus for increased community involvement with adult care homes and their residents. It provides community education and awareness of the needs of aging and disabled residents, works to maintain Home Residents' Bill of Rights through inspections and informed visits to homes.

Qualifications: Must be a Craven County resident, who is not an immediate family member of a home resident or person with a financial interest in a home served by the committee. Cannot be an employee, governing board member or immediate family member of an employee or governing board member.
